Elizabeth McVicker is an accomplished trial attorney with over 23 years of experience. Prior to starting her own practice, Elizabeth began her career at Moore, Sorensen & Horner, in Beverly Hills, California. There, she rose to become head of its family law division. By 2000, she opened her own law firm in Beverly Hills, with branch offices in Orange County and Westwood.

In 2001 she became a board-certified family law attorney by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, a distinction held by only a small number of lawyers in California. In 2013, she moved her Family Law Practice to Canyon Hills, California. She practices family law in the counties of Riverside, San Bernardino, Los Angeles Orange County and San Diego.
Elizabeth McVicker believes it is important to tell each client the truth, not just what they want to hear. She also gives her clients extensive homework to assist her in preparing their cases. Elizabeth McVicker says, “You must be prepared to duel with the opposition. When the water appears calm on the surface I am like a stingray under water preparing the case for settlement or trial.”

Elizabeth McVicker has appeared as an expert on various television and news programs including “Fox Morning News.” Publications that include her work are Orange County Lawyer, Los Angeles Business Journal, Divorce Magazine, Los Angeles Daily Journal and Santa Monica Daily Press among others. She is also the author of two articles for the American Bar Association titled, “Seminar on Topical Arbitration Issues,” and “Hearing At The Première Chambre C de La Cour d’Appel de Paris.” In addition to her work as an attorney and a writer, Elizabeth McVicker served at the Los Angeles Superior Court as pro bono Judge from 2003 to 2006 and as a Settlement Officer from 2001 to 2006.
Those who have shared a part of Elizabeth McVicker’s personal life understand how kind and compassionate she truly is. She has a gift for helping people and animals. She is happily married to Timothy McVicker. Elizabeth and Tim McVicker met in 2008 at the Irvine Central Bark Dog Park with their respective Husky Dogs and married with their Huskies in 2013. Since then, their family has grown to 18 personal Husky Dogs who reside with them in Tenaja, an unincorporated subdivision of Murrieta, California. In 2013 they formed a 501c3 tax-exempt non-profit corporation, Shadow Husky Rescue, Inc.
